Artwork in 3-Dimension from a non-traditional medium of plasticized printing. It is a process done by hand, not by machine. The paper is cut and molded. It is than infused with plastic to hold the 3-D shape. Cleans easily with a eyeglass cloth or feather duster. Just like any piece of art care should be taken, even though this is a fairly sturdy piece. Large frame, Images rise off surface anywhere from 1 inch to 2 inches. It is hard to sell a 3-D object on the web by showing a 2-D image. Some of the art that we do is mounted in extreme, in just a couple of places. We use Scotch outdoor extreme mounting tape. It is designed to hold up to 20lbs. The art that is attached weighs about 3 ounces. The concept of the art or Plart is for the 2-D image on the paper to look like it is coming to life and trying to free itself from the page. The art looks as if it is mass produced, but it is made by hand. It is incredibly hard to bend paper perfectly by hand so a minor imperfection might be in some pieces of art, that is what makes it PlArt or plasticized Art. I guess that I could make it in blow mold plastic, there would be no imperfections, but than that would no longer be art.
