Southwest Groundwater Consultants (SGC) is an Arizona-based hydrogeological and environmental consulting firm established in 1993 to meet the needs of industry and the public sector for quality, affordable hydrogeologic services. As our name implies, groundwater is the heart of our business. It is also our business to understand the geologic, environmental, political, and regulatory factors controlling the availability and use of water – the world’s most precious resource.

SGC’s interdisciplinary team of professional hydrologists, hydrogeologists, engineers, and field technicians work throughout Arizona and neighboring states. SGC is a division of Matrix New World Engineering (Matrix). Matrix has more than 110 professional engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, geologists, biologists, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) specialists in 10 offices nationwide who, along with SGC’s dedicated and hardworking employees, are available to provide clients with the excellence they have come to expect.
