We can refinish hardwoods, softwoods, laminates, vinyls, and ceramics as well as all types of natural stone using our no-sanding liquid based process. Most jobs are completed in one day and you can walk on your floors as soon as we are done!

History of Mr. Sandless:
Mr. Sandless was founded in 1999 near Philadelphia, PA and began franchising in 2005. Today we have over 280 franchisees all over the world and we are the world's largest floor refinishing company with over 120,000 very satisfied customers. Mr. Sandless -Greater Monterey Bay began in 2015 and currently is the only Mr. Sandless franchisee in Northern California. Our franchisee territory services customers from south of Big Sur to north of Santa Cruz; east to Hollister, Gilroy and Morgan Hill; north to Los Gatos, Saratoga and all of Silicon Valley. Because we are the only franchisee we are also able to serve all other areas and are only limited by time or distance.

Owner Bio:
The owner, Jim Griffith, purchased the franchise after having spent almost 8 years as Operations Manager at Carmel Plaza in downtown Carmel. He discovered Mr. Sandless late in 2011 and knew he wanted to become an owner and shortly after his departure from Carmel Plaza in early 2015 he became one. Prior to his work at Carmel Plaza he had been a commercial general contractor on the east coast for many years and had also spent many more years as a regional or national construction manager for companies such as Lenox China, Gap/Banana Republic and Jamba Juice. He has always been passionate about his work and that passion now extends to his daughter and two nephews who have joined the company to help in its growth.
