subjects of inquiry in the natural, social, and information sciences, and humanities;
sources of concern that will drive the discipline of geography to new levels of understanding and better methods of prediction;
a way of appreciating the interdependency of people and environments
a motivation for fostering efficient and ethical use of resources
a means to critically examine values and principles for organizing human activities based on social equality, economic equality, and respect for cultural diversity; and
sources of wonder, curiosity, and inspiration.
