Thirty years ago, John arrived in Southern California from Boston and never looked back. Like most others drawn to the California coast John came to Ventura for the weather and the relaxed lifestyle. He understands both the attraction that living the California lifestyle offers and the daunting cost of housing here that has kept many people from living the California dream.

Born and raised in South Korea, John Kwon came to United States during high school with his family. Despite the difficulties of learning a new language and culture, living in the United States was a dream come true. John worked hard in school and graduated from Boston University with a degree in Economics and Business. John Kwon is a true Ventura local, living here with his wife, son, and a family dog Happy. The Kwons enjoy living the California coastal lifestyle, going on camping and fishing trips throughout California, and giving back to the Ventura community.
