Athens County Foundation Company Information

The Athens Foundation has been serving the people of Athens County for over 30 years.
Grants focus largely on arts, culture, recreation social services, health, environmental, civic improvement, environment, animal welfare and educational projects within Athens County.
From the initial contributions of $50 each by its eight founding members, the assets of the corporation have grown tremendously. This year, the Foundation awarded over 30 grants and other allocations to local non-profit and government agencies, totaling more than $130,000. Since its beginning it has awarded over $1,500,000. Members and donors of the Athens Foundation touch many lives in Athens County.
