Welcome to the Belpre Area Chamber of Commerce Belpre Area Chamber of Commerce is a "friendly" linkage of over 150 businesses, both large and small, plus residents and community leaders interested in advancing the business life of the Belpre Area. The "Belpre Area" is fortunate to link not only the City of Belpre, but communities across the Mid-Ohio Valley in Ohio and West Virginia, in a mutually advantageous partnership with a unifying mission: "…to support and advance business by providing educational growth and networking opportunities that promote cooperative partnerships." Whether it is organizing and supporting Shop Local events, gathering at a networking breakfast to welcome new members, offering small business development education and workshops, or gathering at the Annual Dinner to celebrate a year of business growth, Chamber members are "partners" in all that is growing and prospering in the Belpre Area and in its Chamber of Commerce. At BACC, members refer to the "Boulevard" as our business corridor. A straight shot from the Belpre Bridge spanning the Ohio River bringing traffic from Parkersburg covers about 10 long blocks, ending at a new and growing medical complex. On the way is an increasing number of shops, retailers and services, fed by traffic coming from Main Street , the tree-lined artery now less traveled by large trucks after the addition of a third bridge across the Ohio, bringing Corridor D travelers into town. Down Main Street and up the "Boulevard," flags wave in the breeze reminding drivers that Belpre is a Belpre in Bloom community, with plantings of seasonal flowers appearing all over town, planted by hard volunteer gardeners. Our Homecoming celebration in August, our Holiday Lights festival at Christmas, and the everyday movement of traffic across Mani Street and down the "Boulevard" highlights the pride residents, business leaders and employees feel in their community which lies at the hub of a booming Mid-Ohio Valley.
