The Polymers Center main areas of focus are in training, testing, and processing of polymers.
Testing
The Polymers Center has resources for testing of materials, troubleshooting, and new product development. We can help determine the performance of polymers; provide analytical analysis to understand product failure; and, through reverse engineering discover material composition of parts.
We offer a variety of mechanical and chemical analysis testing, including:
• analysis and identification of material composition
• determination of mechanical properties and third party verification
• analysis of product failure
• testing for quality
• evaluation of part performance

Training
The Polymers Center offers courses in polymers, plastic part design, injection molding, and extrusion. In addition to holding classes at our facility in Charlotte, we can also teach at your place of business or your local community college. Courses at the Polymers Center incorporating hands-on, real world experience with the latest in the science of polymers
Processing
The Polymers Center can provide compounding and injection molding services for small pilot scale projects to full scale production. When it comes to our compounding services, our single and twin screw extruders can take your projects from research to pilot to production scale, then on to our science lab for quality control of materials. Regarding our injection molding services, we provide molded material test samples and tooling needs. In addition, we accurate data, molding solutions and product.
