Gaither Perio and Dental Implants

General information

Dr. Gaither was born in Murfreesboro, TN. His grandfather Dr. Joe Walker practiced dentistry in Murfreesboro for many years and since the age of five Dr. Gaither has wanted to be a dentist. Dr. Gaither attended Middle Tennessee Christian School, and Central Middle School. He graduated from Webb School in 1992 and the University of Tennessee in 1997. He received his D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences School of Dentisty in 2001. Dr. Gaither choose to further his education staying in Memphis an extra year and completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. After three years of post-graduate study Dr. Gaither was awarded a Certificate of Periodontics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While at this program Dr. Gaither had explicit training in peridontal disease management, cosmetic oral plastic surgery and dental implant therapy. He also completed a hospital rotation at the Veterans hospital in Birmingham in order to be certified to administer contus sydation. Dr. Gaither has now returned to his home town and has opened a private practice. He hopes to be the leading provider of oral health treatment related to gum tissues in Middle Tennessee. He also hopes to be an active member in the community helping Murfreesboro not only grow, but become a place that our children will want to raise families.
