General information

After many years of being challenged performing surgeries on patients who have been largely overweight or obese and managing daily the complications of obesity such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and reflux, I decided to take a proactive role and develop a unique wellness center, one that would focus on educating and supporting our client’s journey towards wellness.

We also have been acutely aware of the obesity epidemic among our children and teens and the reality that there aren't many services addressing this issue and that childhood obesity had to be part of our mission. We knew that in order to achieve ideal weight and maintain it, we had to address all of the variety of factors that contribute towards weight gain. From there, we decided to make this a journey towards total wellness and balanced lifestyle by addressing the body, mind and spirit. To do this we knew that it would entail educating our clients about nutrition, fitness, environmental factors, and how our way of thinking influences wellness and a balanced lifestyle.

Our serene, friendly and supportive atmosphere will inspire you to adopt a lifestyle that will help you to achieve new levels of health and wellness. Our goal is to treat the body as a whole nurturing your body mind and spirit. Our experienced practitioners provide a combination of integrative services that allow us to address a variety of health concerns. We provide instruction and counseling in the areas of weight management, nutrition, fitness,pain treatment and massage therapy.

In addition, we have an Allergy Lab in our office that provides Allergy Testing and Treatment for environmental and food sensitivities for all age groups.Testing begins with a small applicator filled with airborne allergens, to abrade/scratch the skin. Within 10-15 minutes irritation to the skin causes a local reaction revealing the true airborne sensitivities you suffer from on a daily basis.You will benefit by participating in Airborne Immunotherapy treatment protocol. The traditional way to allergy treatment is driving to the allergist office every week to receive treatment, our lab tech will teach you to self administer the airborne immunotherapy with injections that are taken every other day. Treatment in the comfort of your own home !
