General information

Prime Medical Associates was formed by Dr. Arun Rajan and Dr. Pedro Falla by combining their individual practices into one single entity in 2010. Dr. Rajan is a neurologist subspecializing in epilepsy and sleep medicine, while Dr. Falla is an internist. Both physicians have been in practice since 1998.

Other physicians that have since joined the practice include internist and infectious disease specialist Dr. Mariel Del Rio and internist Dr. Hector Oshiro. Our staff has also grown to include two nurse practitioners who provide primary care services and one who assists Dr. Rajan with neurology patients.

Prime Medical Associates previously had multiple locations in Massachusetts including offices in New Bedford, Dartmouth, and Fall River. In January 2017 we consolidated into a single location at 237 State Road in Dartmouth.

At our new 20,000 square-foot facility we offer additional on-site services including clinical laboratory, sleep lab, radiology, urgent care, and physical therapy. We are also actively involved in clinical research studies.
