At Tarpley Music, we have been serving communities in Texas for 90 years. We're always looking for ways to grow and improve, always striving to keep the company on the cutting edge of the music industry.

Tarpley Music has the most complete 'Band and Orchestra' departments in West Texas and Eastern New Mexico, professional and knowledgeable educational representatives who call on schools all across Texas, an electronics technician with multiple industry certifications, and four complete band repair facilities that provide service and support to customers and schools.

Tarpley Music ranks among the top 200 music stores in the country (out of an estimated 8,000+ music stores), as ranked by Music Trades Magazine. With the fifth generation now in place, we are poised to continue the growth of Tarpley Music. We are very proud of our heritage, and look forward to serving our communities and sharing in our passion for music.
