Stemming from frustrations with available online auction services, Keith Sharp, the owner of Sharp Companies, Inc., and a real estate and antiques power buyer, had the idea to create a new service. This would become Sharp Auction Engine.

Over two years and 3 million lines of code later, Sharp Auction Engine is now a comprehensive auction management tool that allows auctioneers to conduct timed online auctions, providing an opportunity for auctioneers to expand their businesses and brands in the growing online marketplace. In addition, it is intuitive and user-friendly, making it an attractive option for bidders as well as auctioneers. Built by geniuses from the Rocket City, Sharp Auction Engine was created using innovative and new technology.
