Suburban Plastic Surgeons: Long Charles D MD

General information

Dr. Charles D. Long is a native of Philadelphia. After obtaining his medical degree from Temple University, he completed a general surgery residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania.

As a chief resident, he distinguished himself by receiving all three teaching awards from the University and a commendation from the Department of Veteran Affairs for outstanding service at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center.

Dr. Long was trained by the world-renowned faculty at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in the latest techniques of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, and returned to Philadelphia to join MCP-Hahnemann University as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery.

He continues to teach residents and students at Abington Memorial Hospital, and performs outpatient surgeries at the Huntindon Valley Surgical Center.
