University Place Elementary School is comprised of a faculty and student body of learners and leaders! UPES is the premier elementary school for STEAM Education. STEAM allows our students to develop problem solving and collaboration skills while exploring the areas of Science, Technolgy, Engineering, Arts and Math. We fully integrate those STEAM disciplines throughout our regular curriculum, and give our students the opportunity to apply what they're learning to real life. UPES is proud to be a Lighthouse School with the Franklin Covey Leader in Me program. The 7 Habits give our students tools, habits and life skills that will help them succeed academically and socially.
